How the numbers work

Where the data comes from. Seasons 1–12 come from the commissioner’s league database, which covers both the Yahoo years (2014–2018) and Sleeper (2019–). The current season comes live from Sleeper, and so do trades and waiver moves, because Sleeper marks failed waiver claims.

Records. “Regular season” means weeks before the playoffs. “Playoffs” is the winners bracket, including the 3rd and 5th place games. The Toilet Bowl is counted separately, and “all games” includes everything. Win percentage counts a tie as half a win.

All-play. Your record if you had played every other team every week. It strips out schedule luck, so it’s the fairest measure of how good a team really was. Luck is actual wins minus the wins all-play expected.

Power rankings blend season-long all-play win % (60%) with the last three weeks (40%). Playoff odds simulate the rest of the regular season 20,000 times, using each team’s scoring this year (pulled toward the league average early on) and the league’s historical week-to-week variance. The current week uses Sleeper’s projections for each starting lineup.

Lineups. “Left on the bench” compares the score to the best lineup that roster could have started (Sleeper era, where every slot is known). Some Yahoo-era records list a starting FLEX player as benched; when a bench player’s points exactly account for the missing total, he’s shown as an inferred FLEX start.

Drafts and trades are measured by what actually happened: the points a player scored in his new team’s starting lineup that season.

Forfeits. Two Week 1 games where a team scored 0.00 (S1 Will, S3 Connor) count in records and standings but are left out of single-game leaderboards.
